Nick Holder - Alternative Mixes Part 1
We gave the best of the new skool house producers free reigh to re-construct some of their favourite cuts from Holder's "Underground Alternatives" album, and here are the results. Audio Soul Project provides a meaty re-work of "Freedom In '63" with crashing drums, hypnotic pads and throbbing bass whilst Rocket (Garth & Eric James) create a soothing sweet groove around "Love Em & Leave Em".

'Ride The Storm' gets the overhaul from Chicago's Audio Soul Project, who's supplied some great mixes for NRK this year. He flips Negro's Original Mix and turns out a phat, twisted dub of a mix. This 12" also includes the Mr. Fingers inspired 'Joey Negro Solar Jazz Mix'.
